MajorCyber™

Accessibility

Last updated

MajorCyber™ should be usable by everyone. Our design and testing target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What do we do?

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks.
  • A “Skip to content” link, full keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Menus, filters and FAQs built with native elements or standard accessible patterns.
  • Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for text on both light and dark backgrounds.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
  • Layouts that adapt from phones to large screens and support text resizing.
  • Video players that load only when requested, with links to watch on YouTube.

Current status

We have tested key pages with automated tools and keyboard-only navigation. We have not yet carried out a full independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Known limitations

  • Comparison tables in long guides can require horizontal scrolling on small screens.
  • Third-party content we link to, such as regulator PDFs, may not meet the same standard.
